the hotel is well priced and clean, the heating worked well, the hotel is on a main road but the window's were double glazed and the noise was nowhere near as bad as some internet postings had made out,if you are looking for clean cheap and cheerful its perfect, if you are used to 5 star luxury and need everything "just so" its probably not for you, i will definitely stay there again and had a good experience. the good location, the guy(spanish?) on the front desk when i checked in on the friday was helpful and friendly, the room was clean and warm, all in all a good stay, the heating was excellent too
Dislikes:
not too much really, everything was ok, the tv reception was not too good, also the 11 0 clock check out time was a touch early, i asked for an extra hour but it was not available

Within easy walking distant of the Tube, The Gateway had a clean, what looked like recently refurbished room at a great price. Nothing fancy; but do you really need that when you're just in the room to sleep? Close to shops for necessities, it was perfect for visiting someone in the Clapham Commons area. If it just had a little more stable wifi signal it would be perfect! I'd use it every time I came back. Read less

 The hotel was very helpful when I booked two car parking spaces. They also didn't have a twin room for two of my guests so gave them a double each as a gesture of goodwill! They contacted me beforehand to let me know this and were very accommodating. The communication of the hotel was very good.
Tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked and always nice to have in the rooms. White clean linen on beds was lovely. I was very happy with this hotel and would not hesitate to book again.
