It is very conveniently located-2 mins from a tube station. It was clean. The room was small but grand for 1 person.
Dislikes:
It was quite expensive I think.

Parking practically non existent. Black Mould in shower - this is so easy to fix it should never be seen in a hotel.

For London the room price here is very reasonable.
Dislikes:
A small gripe. I was put off coming to London in my car because the hotel has a policy of not accommodating 4x4's for reasons of space. What did I find in the car park on my arrival but 2 4x4's!.

We spotted a mouse in our room which was disappointing because the hotel facilities were otherwise clean and hygienic.

I used the Gateway Hotel whilst visiting family in Clapham area. Despite some poor reviews my son and I found the hotel clean and comfortable. The staff were friendily and helpful. The location was ideal, only minutes away from restaurants,shops and Clapham South tube. Maybe the bathroom was a bit tired and in need of updating and the towels a bit thin but we weren't expecting the Savoy. Read less
